The ANVR is the General Dutch Association of Travel Companies. The trade association represents the broad Dutch travel sector. The ANVR is also important for travelers: ANVR members offer every traveler a carefree journey with fair conditions. In addition, ANVR members are always well insured and affiliated with a guarantee fund and the calamity fund. The aim of the ANVR is to represent common socio-economic interests, to be a requested authority in the field of travel and tourism, and to provide solutions to social issues related to travel. In this way, the ANVR as an organization takes a leading position nationally and internationally as a representative of the travel industry.

The goal is to stimulate public-private partnerships between universities of applied sciences and industry partners. Our knowledge center was established by Breda University of Applied Sciences, NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, and HZ University of Applied Sciences. On a project basis, we also collaborate with other institutions and universities within and outside the hospitality sector. We aim to assist market parties, destinations, and industries in making choices for conscious sustainable development. We match the expertise, lecturers, researchers, and students to the client and their development issues.
